Who are your products for?

The Melanated Bar products are for anyone who wants to enhance their skincare + self-care routines. We are an inclusive brand and have customers of all ages and ethnicities.

Are your products completely natural?

We use natural skin-loving ingredients in our products. Our scents are created from 100% essential oils, and never synthetic fragrances. Our preservative used in some products are paraben-free.

How long until i see results after using The Melanated Bar Products?

With any skincare product you want to use it at least 30 days to see a true difference in your skin. However with The Melanated Bar products you will start to see and feel a difference in your skin at least with 1-2 weeks from what our customers say.

Can i use these products with my other skincare items?

Yes you can mix our products with other skincare products. I actually recommend that you do especially if you have medicated skincare items from dermatologists, or products that contain AHA, BHA, retinol, etc. Please do your research when you mix products so that you don’t deactivate certain ingredients in the products making them ineffective.

 How long can I leave my face mask on?

It’s recommend that once your facial begins to dry that you either mist your face with a spray bottle to keep it wet, or rinse the entire facial off. If you let the mask dry completely on your face it can cause extra dryness to the skin. Although some skin can tolerate leaving face masks on for a long period of time you always want to wash it off if you feel any discomfort or irritation to the skin.

How long does the products stay fresh?

Although our products are natural we do use a natural, paraben-free preservative in our products to ensure nothing yucky grows in your goodies. Your goodies should have a shelf-life beyond 90 days as long as they are not cross contaminated or introduced to excess water.

All of our body oils, body butters, and face serums will have a shelf life past a year if stored in a cool, dark place.

I have sensitive skin, can I use The Melanated Bar products?

Yes our products are Sensitive Skin Approved.
